Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG has entrusted KSV with the renewal of the power supply for the Print Media Academy.
Here, too, the entire power supply line from the medium voltage to the sub-distribution at low-voltage level was completely modernized.
Thanks to KSV, the Print Media Academy (PMA) can continue to be used as a “free space for ideas” and for exciting events and congresses in the future.

Background

The Print Media Academy (PMA) is a great address for events, congresses and seminars in the Rhine-Neckar region.
The architecture of the building with glass fronts over twelve floors is open and transparent and with various lighting design options, the PMA also offers opportunities for an impressive atmosphere in the evening.
And thanks to its flexible room layout, it can accommodate events of all sizes.

Task

As part of this project, KSV’s experts replaced the old medium-voltage switchgear with a new version, a SIEMENS 8DJH, and also installed and commissioned a 630 kVA emergency power generator.
The scope of the project also included the complete conversion of the low-voltage main distribution board.
